Some values are additional centered on the internal organization, on organizing on what's important from the company's identity... different values are more concerned about what happens outside, on the business and world that's changing. Leadership is an example of the latter.
An example of this value is the following: "Leadership vocation in all the markets where we operate, with the best teams and perpetually centered on customers and results. (from a financial service supplier)
It's not a coincidence that this example is selected. Why for instance did we tend to see therefore very little leadership in the monetary institutions; banks, brokers, investment companies, governmental organizations, why did they all follow the flow? Why was there no control, why was there therefore little distinction between the businesses in the financial market.
The subsequent dilemma is resolving the distinction between (internal) leadership versus client behavior; ought to a bank sell merchandise to shoppers of whom they grasp they cannot really afford them? Is "serving to them," leadership or just following the hype where everything is potential?

These values represent a vision of current business landscape and what is required to lead.
With leadership as a company price it's a lot of or less the identical as with job-titles: the "retention manager" for example. It's visible and clear for everyone that retention is key, but then the following factor is: what's it and the way do we achieve it. Do we would like an express job for it?
