Hello everybody Ray Jernukian here, and today I need to talk to you concerning leadership. What's leadership to you? Are you trying through the eyes of a pacesetter? What are your leadership strategies?
In my walk through life, I have learned that people observe their situations through one of 4 different sets of eyes. I can justify this as another of my leadership lessons.
The first two, wanting through the eyes of a victim and looking at life through the eyes of an admirer are sadly where most folks are in life.
Then you've got people who are wanting at life through the eyes of a producer and at last folks looking through the eyes of a leader.
Understand this up front, regardless of where you are right now, in any of these stages you have the ability to alter, if that is what you want.
Modification is truly a nice place to begin explaining this as a result of each of those stages has its own very completely different view of amendment and knowing this will go an extended way in your leadership and development process.
The victims are visiting be frightened of modification; they can do something and everything to avoid it. It's one in all their greatest fears and they will have a whole unwillingness to avoid getting out of their comfort zone.
The followers can blow off modification; they in all probability do not have any real leadership qualities yet.
Looking through the eyes of a follower could be a step up from being a victim nonetheless they still have a ways to go. To a friend, change is someone else's responsibility
The producer is another boost up and they need a totally different spin on this. Individuals wanting through the eyes of a producer can accept modification like this.
I can change this, I will modification this. I can amendment this because it benefits me; they fall wanting leadership as they only target themselves.
What is leadership? Leadership is embracing modification to learn the lives of everyone, to form things better for everybody not themselves.
The differences in the four stages would be easy to identify within the face of danger. If you were on a bus and it rolled over here is what you could expect.
The victims would freeze with fear, saying why did this happen to me? Can somebody help me?
The follower would conjointly remain motionless waiting to work out who took action first so they'd somebody to follow out of the bus.
The producer would rise and say I can get out of here, I will save myself. Within the eyes of a producer, that specialize in saving themselves and them only.
Leadership qualities are a lot of different. What is leadership? Leadership is rising, and finding a way to help everyone. To assist the victims out, and give the followers somebody they can follow to safety. A real leader looks to help everybody
Leadership starts the day you stop looking at yourself and start wanting to help those around you. Thus I ask you, have you ever started your leadership journey?
