4th of July shouldnt be just a day for you to take a break from your work. This should be a celebration of how your country surpassed many trials just to have its sovereignty. You can always watch parades, firework displays, and even plays about how the US got its Independence. In your backyard, displaying the banner of America and making some banners showing how proud you are to be one of the residents of this great nation will always be one simple but really gratifying way to celebrate this event.
Together with your friends and neighbors, you can also have a small barbeque party in your yard. You can even have a costume party to make your celebration more fun. Dress like you are one of the vital people in the revolutionary times. Together with your family and friends, you can also wave flags and dance in your home and play music.
It is really important that we bear in mind the importance of July 4th. The merriment and jubilation that they felt when they got the independence before should never die in our hearts. The flame of patriotism should be in our hearts all the time and we should also instill it in the hearts and minds of our kids for them to continue to respect and give importance to the Independence and to the men and women who gave effort in achieving what we are experiencing today.
