People normally have violent reactions when they discuss controversial topics such as abortion. The reason often advanced is that we have no right to take anothers life, most especially a fetus. When women suddenly find themselves in a situation of an unexpected or unwanted pregnancy, they often entertain the thought of aborting the child. On their behalf, they are simply not yet ready to be 'moms' or do not have the financial resources to raise a child. These may be selfish but from the standpoint of the would-be mother, it is a difficult decision which she has to make as it will affect her for the rest of her life.
Many young teenagers find themselves in a predicament which, to most of which, is a matter of life and death. However, should we castigate a person if she chooses to abort her child?
You can find rare instances when abortion is apparently the only way out. An illustration would be if the continuing pregnancy would create a threat to the life from the expectant mother. Yes, this may happen, and some would-be mothers elect to go through with it rather than carry the guilt of losing her child.
There are also situations when the child appears to be weak and there is a very slim chance of delivering him from the womb alive. Most people would call this as a possible act of mercy killing but then again, are we able to bring it upon yourself to permit a child to suffer and after that, lose his life when he goes out through his mothers womb?
Even so, the continual booming globally population has given rise to the question in the event that abortion could be accepted like a method of family planning because expecting parents choose to leave their own babies anywhere to be adopted or found by strangers, for the reason that they are not capable of raising the child. Other expectant mothers are left with no other option because their partners forced them to have an abortion. For the kids, delivering a child to the world with no method of sustenance is by alone, a cruel as well as inhuman act, which is why several parents take it upon themselves to decide on the actual fate of their long term baby. Naturally, the lady has to stand by the woman's decision to have an abortion because once it has started, there is no looking back again.
