The need for the Church to our lives is similar to water to the land. Without water, everything would shrivel as well as die - without the Church, spiritually, you may shrivel and die. Sometime ago, the Church was being a safe haven. People would go to hear the Word, be saved, confess sins and renew their strength and to become closer to God. At this point, you find all sorts of things taking place in this home of worship until people seem to have forgotten the need for the Church in their lives.

Life has several trials and even though you could have the family and also social structure to support you, inside, you are still able to feel alone. Can you explain that? With no Church in our lives, we rob ourselves of what our spirit needs the most - constant teachings to help keep us on level ground. Frequently, you hear the excuse for not going to Church being that it holds a number of hypocrites and who want to go sit for hours. People will be people and you will find hypocrites in every social arena you are a part of, but the most important thing to remember is that the Church is where you are constantly encouraged to grow spiritually.

The Church is where are able to go and teach the other, honor one another, encourage one another, and above all, love one another. How could you use your spiritual gifts if you can't attend Church? It is truly written that any of us to help fellow Christians, and the Church is often where you can come up with thoughts and plan as 'one body' to help hundreds of people at one time.

Certainly one of this would be the homeless. You will recognize that almost any Church does its best to reach out to the homeless and this may come by way of preparing hot meals and serving them or even providing grooming services while adding the spiritual guidance needed, trying to change or encourage a life. Should you be not in a Church, you are not part of the solution, this means you have really lost touch with the importance of the Church in your life. Think about learning a new phone number -it takes repeating it a couple of times before it will sink in. It's the same for learning the Word - if you don't hear it as often, you lose it and you lose your spirituality.
Author Resource:- Finding the right church can take some work in order to become spiritually balanced. When riding by and you see the LED church sign that says "Church service begins at 10am", go! The digital church signs are a big help too. Inquiring minds want to know without going inside and there you have it. So what is the excuse? Go in. It's a sign from above that you already need to feed yourself spiritually.
