Everyone, especially children, are excited by a new puppy. Just make sure that the you are taking home this puppy for good reasons, and not just momentary happiness. Owning a dog is a lifetime commitment rather than something to occupy your time for just a season. Though it is not all fun and no work as it involves a lot of training and hard work yet the puppies will bring back a lot of happy memories and happy times.

Not only does a puppy's temperament depend on how it was reared but also by what breed of dog it is. Breeds of guard dogs, such as Rottweilers, bull dogs, and boxers are in general very loving of their families and are extremely protective. Border and Bearded collies are natural herding dogs with tons of energy so the are great dogs for a farm (be aware because they are reared on a farm they may be a little bit nervous around modern day technologies, such as bridges, loud noises etc) Labradors, gun dogs and pointer are all hunting dogs so expect them to be full of energy and laughable moments. Of course these are just general expectations every dog has its day…and its personality!

Puppy dog training is something that can be achieved in a matter of weeks depending how much time and attention you spend on it. You don't need to train for hours and hours a day, a few minutes several times a day is all it takes. The first thing you need to train your new puppy in is obedience, commands like sit, come, heel, stay and fetch are basic enough for them to learn. As the puppy grows older, begin teaching such commands as roll over, paw, and play dead! Young puppies are like blank slates waiting to have their minds filled with information, they are not quite as difficult to train as most people may believe. The training a dog receives will stick with them and be a part of who they are, but training is not permanent and you should get into the routine of budgeting time daily to keep training them.

There are good reasons to train a puppy early. He will use your home as a toilet, for example, and your furniture may suffer with holes from his digging and biting. Puppies are not born knowing the difference between right and wrong, so you must teach them what you expect of them.

Many people, whether experienced or not, look to training aids to help train their dog. You don't need these aids, however, to successfully train your dog. A puppy may take several months to training but when it is complete the rewards will be well worth it, but don't forget to top up on your training for several minutes each day or your dog will slowly forget and you'll have to start all over again, with an even bigger task, training an older dog!
Author Resource:- Whether or not it are trains which are rushing prior, cars which can be coming to near starting a dog walking business uk or even the drain in the midst of the street making that humorous loud gurgling noise!
